There They Were

Adapted from the novel of the same title by Jiang Nan. The story is set in a parallel universe, at Bianjing University in the Jiayou reign of the Song Dynasty. Four first-year undergraduates — Guo Jing, Ling Huchong, Yang Kang and Duan Yu — are assigned to the same dormitory. Fate, like an invisible thread, has tied their lives together.
